Unreliable December 12, 2009 Firas Kakish (philadelphia, pa United States) Broke down 4 times already, I only play Halo with my friends. the 360 design is so weak comparing to play station, Wii, or even my old xbox, which is still working ,, i dont know whats wrong: the overheating, corrupted hard drive, Doesnt read disks "open tray error", you name it, and on top of that I had to pay $120.00 to fix each time, they give you a warrenty on the 3 red lights and they forget to tell you that once it breaks down it will not stop!! and its not covered by the warranty. I will NEVER recomend it to anybody, stick with PS3 or Wii if you can and save yourself the pain .
A GREAT SYSTEM FOR NOT A BAD PRCIE January 3, 2009 Z. Jackson When I was thinking about buying a system for me this Christmas I was looking at this A WII and and PS3. Although the PS3 comes with a blue ray player the price and the availability of games that are out there made me decide this was not the product. Than the WII although it is fun to play the graphics and again the selection of games out there turned me against this one. Than the XBOX 1 the price is great $200.00 for just the arcade system is not a bad price epically as this one comes with sonic tennis with the system. I also found on[...]you can buy a 20 gig hard drive w/ 3 month gold membership. So for $230.00 dollars you can have a complete system which is cheaper than any other system and 20 gig is more than enough space to store your game files. The graphics on it are Amazing granted they are not as good as the PS3 but if your not a huge techy and don't really notice a difference between super hi def and hi def you'll be amazed by the graphics. 2nd the games available for it our plentifully almost something out there for everyone to enjoy. Although the games are still pricy when they come out you can find older classics for $20.00. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone looking for a system as it is a great system for the price!
The 360 is a pile of junk!! December 11, 2008 S. Toyota (Okinawa, Japan) I have purchased 3 Xbox 360s. The first two had the famous RROD. I told myself that if the 3rd one broke, no more 360s. Sure enough, less than a year it broke. 9 months to be exact. The system turns on,however, it cannot read any DVDs, CDs, and game discs. If I cannot get it repaired, thats it for me, no more 360s. What a piece of junk!!!!! I am most certainly disappointed with Microsoft who apparently does not seem to care about quality. Thank goodness I have a PS 3 to keep me occupied. I have now changed to a Playstation fan.
Great System November 12, 2008 William J. Warner III (Loveland, Co) The Xbox 360 is the king of all game systems. I love the graphics and Xbox Live is completely unbeatable. You can play all the games you want online for either month to month for $8 a month or you can buy a 12month with one free month card for $50 and that is a little over $4 a month which is a much better deal but if you are like me and can't afford $50 up front then the month to month is great. I mean with all the things you can do with Xbox live it is a great value. The heat problems everyone has been having are not to speak of anymore they pretty much fixed that. I mean mine has never overheated and I play sometimes for 10hrs or more a day so thats saying something. As long as you keep it away from the wall and not enclosed in a entertainment center you should have no problems at all, I mean as long as you house isn't over 80 degrees inside. So all I can say is if you are going to buy a 360 buy the one with the hard drive cause it is pretty much a waste without it. But if you want the ultimate system then go for the Elite and you won't be sorry.
Amazing September 18, 2008 arod (USA) I originaly bought the 360 when it first came out and like many other people out their, I had issues and returned it and got a new one. Then about 3 days later the 360 gave me more problems. I was very upset and took the 360 back with full refund saying I will just wait for the PS3. But for those 3 days of playing the 360, I did think the system itself was awsome, the exprience I had with Xbox Live was amazing. So about 6 months later my xbox was just not cutting it and I felt maybe the 360 issues would be fixed so I went and purched the 360 agian, because I couldnt wait for the PS3. So far I still have that same 360 and have had no issues what so ever. I also purchased the PS3 and the Wii. I enjoy all the systems and out of all three I prefer the 360 the most. Between the 360 and ps3 the graphics are about the same. But I still think the xbox live blows away the PS3 Network, its deffinetly the best of online gaming. I also had to deal with customer support (CS) alot in the beggining and consider the CS to be very good. I believe the 360 is a good purchase with especially with the whole Netflix comming to xbox live and the rumor of mabye Sirus Radio comming to the 360 as well.
