Amazon.com Product Description The perfect skates for the entry-level skater, the Marlee junior skates offer unsurpassed support, an easy fit, and superb comfort. They also sport a stylish cherry/mauve coloring with scrolling floral accents along the frame. The Marlee boasts an easy-pull lace system with a locking buckle and pushbutton adjustment, so it's simple to fine-tune the frame to fit different-sized feet.
K2's attention to detail extends from the skate's construction to stylish accents on the frame and wheels. | The composite material, meanwhile, holds up to frequent use, so you needn't worry about the skates falling apart after just a few months. Add in an attached brake and smooth 76 mm wheels with ABEC 3 bearings and you have a great pair of skates for the budding skating freak in your family. The skates come in three sizes--small (J13-3), medium (3-6), and large (4-8)--and carry a one-year warranty. In 1994, K2 introduced the world's first Softboot skate, forever changing the way performance skates are designed and built. The proprietary Softboot design allows K2 to design skates the same way all high end athletic footwear is designed. K2's Softboot designs incorporate breathable, comfortable, and flexible materials that fit and function like a second skin while substantially reducing overall weight. About K2 In February of 1961 the first pair of fiberglass skis was produced by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner in their Vashon Island, Washington shop. The Kirschners, avid skiers, built fiberglass animal cages for medical use and were convinced that their process could build a ski that was lighter, stronger, and more lively than the wood and metal skis of the day. They really just wanted to build some cool skis for themselves and their friends. And the rest, as they say, is history. Much has changed since those early days on sleepy Vashon Island, but one thing has not: K2 is still a bunch of adrenaline junkies who just want to make some cool stuff for themselves and their friends. Today, K2 Inc. is a premier, branded consumer products company with a portfolio of leading brands including Shakespeare and Stearns for marine and outdoor products, Rawlings and Worth for team sports, K2 and Brass Eagle for action sports, and Marmot and Ex Officio for apparel and footwear. K2's diverse products includes fishing, water sports activities, baseball, softball, alpine skiing, snowboarding, and inline skating.

My daughter loves them October 9, 2008 Rachel Perry (Portland, Or United States) I got these in-line skates for my daughters 7th birthday and she loves them. I read the reviews prior to the purchase, and it seem they would be the best fit for her. Not only are they pretty, but they are very comfortable. I would highly recommend them.
So-So, but great price! August 31, 2008 M&M (Singapore) Was swayed into buying it cos of the tempting price offer, even tho I'm not much of a blader. The wheels are not as 'fast' or 'smooth' as I'd have liked them to be, and I find the fit a little awkward width-wise. If I make it comfortably loose, it gets wobbly around the ankle. If I make it too tight, I can't feel my feet after a while :P Still trying to get used to it, but I dont remember experiencing the same problem with my previous (different make) blades.
Great Quality Skates August 16, 2008 Texas mom (Sugar Land, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the K2 Marlee In-Line Skates in July '08 for my 8 yr. old daughter's birthday. They are very well made, quality skates- unlike the ones sold at Target, Walmart, etc. The buckles are sturdy and my daughter says they are very comfortable. I bought the medium, size 3-6, and my daughter's foot is about a 3 1/2. The skates seem true to size in my opinion, giving her a little growing room. A great buy.
Good skates for price March 29, 2008 Mamma Mia (Mesa, AZ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My only complaint is they are a bit big - even with the adjustable feature. I got the 3-6 and the 6-8 for my daughters. I'm a size 7 and the 6-8 are a bit loose fitting for me, even at the smallest setting of 6. The wheels are really smooth and the laces tuck away to be hidden when using. My girls love them and k-2 is a great brand.
The BEST skates I've seen for a young child...VERY NICE! January 18, 2008 L.E.W. (Northwest Arkansas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These skates are JUST like the adult versions of K2 (which in my opinion is the BEST brand for skates). My little girl is 6 and had just started inline skating a little before she got these for Christmas. She put these on and took off like she'd been skating for years. They're VERY comfortable, super sturdy and solid, have great support, are very cute, and she just loves them. I can't say enough about these skates. What's even better is the adjustable size. I thought this would make them look cheap...but you don't notice at ALL. They are very well built and I would highly recommend these skates to anyone with a child who loves to skate...or one that's never been on skates at all!
