My daughter loves these skates! September 29, 2008 Amanda Cook (Georgia) My daughter wears a size 13T - 1 street shoe, and the smallest setting on these skates fits her just fine. They are heavily padded on the inside so she can slip them on without socks for use in the driveway with no discomfort. She has taken them to the skating rink and they also performed well there. They are chunkier than the rental quad skates from the rink (you know, the ones you used to rent as a child), but she skated for three hours with no problems. I think that these provide more ankle support than the rentals.
High Quality Skates September 18, 2008 Fusilli My four year old daughter loves these skates. They are high quality and certainly worth the money. They adjust to growing feet. She is just learning to skate so the quad wheels have been good for her, more stabile. I would recommend this product to others.
Chicago Girls Adjustable Quad Skate September 13, 2008 C. Bishop (Albany, NY) This is a pretty good skate. This was purchased as a birthday gift for my 5 year old. Initially, she couldn't get the skates on by herself, but now she is getting the hang of it. The skates themselves roll quite well, but the wheels and brake got dinged up pretty fast, even though we were on a smooth, recently-paved road. I like the fact that they will grow with her. My daughter's foot measures to be 9 1/2, so the skate is a bit on the big side; however, this didn't seem to bother her as the inside liner fit her foot well. All in all, I would give this skate a high rating. It's just too bad about the big dings/scratches on the wheels and brake. They just don't make plastic like they used to! lol
Chicago Girls skates August 25, 2008 Connie R. Devendorf (Baldwinsville,NY) Bought these for my grandaughter who's five, she loved them and did not have any trouble adjusting the size to fit her now .I like that they adjust two more sizes before she out grows them, and they are sturdy.Chicago Girl's Adjustable Quad Skate
Great skates December 19, 2007 K. A. (Colorado) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These skates are perfect for fast-growing feet. They give good support and kids can easily tighten them themselves. My 7 year-old daughter loves them. The wheels roll smoothly. A child will probably need help making the skates bigger or smaller.
