We got them to match the Razor Rip Stick for my 10 yr. old. The knee pads' hard shields came apart from the underpadding at the faux snaps after just over 1 month of wear. They cannot be repaired. What a waste of our money...we are very disappointed.

Knowing my grandson is protected from injury while riding his skateboard 125 miles away from where I am promotes a sense of confidence not otherwise possible. The children are not always thinking about their own safety while they're playing and these pads provide a measure of safety against serious injury. I'm confident they're a necessary means of reducing the threat of injury.

These work pretty well. My only complaint is that they are a little big for my petite daughter. Especially the knee pads. She really have to tighten them down to keep them in place.
