 Decent scooter January 6, 2009

We bought this for my daughter for her 12th birthday. Speed is perfect for her. The only down side to this scooter is that for 8 hours of charge time, you'd think you could get more than 45 minutes of pleasure out of riding it. That 45 minutes goes really quickly when you have a new scooter! We knew this before we bought it so we got what they advertised. Also, our box was missing the air up valve extender when we got it.

We bought this for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas. It arrived in a beaten box but all in all in fine shape (with a few nicks and scratches-not enough to really care). I charged the battery because I wanted to try it before we gave it to her, to, um, test it's safety :) It was so much fun! My husband and I rode it back and forth in the hallway for about an hour. We felt some guilt for playing with her Christmas gift before she got it-but we knew after she got it we wouldn't be allowed on it anymore. When she saw it on Christmas morning she was thrilled. We live in western Pennsylvania and Christmases tend to be snowy and cold, but it was a decent day and she went outside to ride it. She rose it for upwards of an hour before the low battery light came on. She hasn't had much ride time since then but I can tell you that the battery is great, the ride is great, the weight limit is a bonus for adults, and it is super fun. I just hope that she will allow me to ride it come summer.

We bought 2 of these scooters for our boys for Christmas. They love them. On a full charge, these things fly down the street. Unfortunately, the charge only lasts about 30 minutes or so. The chain also seems to come of quite often, but it's easy to put back on. We've tightened the chain up so hopefully it will stay on longer. Seat on or seat off, they are great and my 7 and 9 year-old can handle them easily.

My daughter loves her scooter. However it is tricky to get it started. Sometimes you have to let it warm up or push a reset button. While other times is just takes right off. When it is running my daughter goes forever!

Used to drive at work (hospital) when I broke my ankle. (I'm 43yo and 145 pounds.) Can't say how long battery lasted with continuous use, but it recharged quickly. Surprisingly fast. Fits in backseat floor of Prius. Very uncomfortable seat. Giving to a friend for her grandkid. Would buy again.
