Amazon.com Product Description Designed for first-time riders ages 19 months and up, the Razor Scuttle Bug tricycle makes an excellent first set of wheels. The trike sports a foot-to-floor design, meaning there's no pedals to pedal or chains to tangle--the toddler just puts his or her feet to the floor and goes. Parents will love the indoor/outdoor functionality, with urethane gel wheels that spin quietly indoors without damaging or scratching floors but also hold up durably when exposed to pavement. Kids, meanwhile, will delight in the Scuttle Bug's cool blue color, stylish frame, and contoured seat. Add in a set of easy-to-hold handlebars and a three-step foldable design for simple storage and transport and you have a can't-miss tricycle for the budding biker in your family. The Scuttle Bug, which offers a max weight limit of 44 pounds, is backed by a 90-day warranty.
Product Description Extremely safe, the Scuttle Bug is perfect for first-time riders. The Scuttle Bug features a foot-to-floor design with three wheels for balance, easy-to-grip handlebars and a comfortable, contoured seat. Storing and carrying it is a snap with the handy fold-up mechanism. Its 98mm urethane wheels make for a smooth, quiet ride. Maximum rider weight is 44 pounds. No assembly required. Adult supervision and safety equipment (such as a helmet) is recommended. Colors may vary.

Legs get stuck! November 7, 2008 E. Smith My son recieved this as a gift for his 1st birthday - we had to put it up for about 6 mos as he was not ready for it. When he finally could ride it he continually got his leg stuck in the open part at the back of the seat. He's 2 now and plays with it only occasionally - but he rides his Little tykes bulldozer daily. He continues to occasionally get his leg stuck and my 1 year old niece also got her leg stuck in it last week. My son is tiny @ 3rd%.
would recommend scuttle bug October 30, 2007 kristi carlson (saratoga springs, ny,usa) My son got this a few months ago when he was 18 months old and has used it every day ever since!! The only problem I experienced with it was when we first got it one of the back tires wasnt put on properly and it fell off while he was riding it. I had to personally secure it back on. NO issues ever since. Its really compact and is great for indoor use as well as out!I would definately recommend this toy!!
Absolutely Love this item October 27, 2007 Katie Peneton (Grants Pass, OR) My son is almost 22 months old and loved this item, we actually found them in a Big Lots in Oregon and he rode it around the entire store which made it easy and fun for us to shop. He is actually small for his age and can't reach the pedals on a big boy tricycle so this is a fun and different way that he ride around that looks like a tricycle. This is a very sturdy item and is very quiet, doesn't work well on the carpet but works wonderful on the hardwood floor and tile. This is a well designed product and perfect for the 2 year old or so age where they want to get a trike and very affordable. I love this product.
Stronger than it looks! October 14, 2007 Suzy Brown (Northern VA) I got this for a 2 yr old who lives in a TINY apt with no storage space. This kid had tons of energy, needed wheels, but had no place to put them! The Scuttle bug is collapsible when not in use, and only takes up as much space as the seat when folded! The back wheels fold in and snap under the seat, and the handle bar/front wheel fold forward and snap into place under the seat too. It takes a little muscle to unsnap the wheels and lock them open, but this means your kid is less likely to do it himself and break it. Once opened, it is SOLID like a rock! I could toss it down the stairs or drag it all over the parking lot and it wouldn't be fazed in the least! What a great invention!!! I definitely recommend this product. My only limitations is the size. Its SO small, that it maybe awkward to scuttle around on it if the kid is too tall. My kids are 3 feet tall and seemed to be at the height limit for it.
Too short... too bad! May 28, 2007 MShin My 2 year old son received this for his birthday and loves it however, he is too tall for it. He is 36 inches tall and has a hard time riding it the way it is supposed to be used... but he seems to like it anyway. It would be great for smaller kids. The feature I like best is that it folds to a very compact size. If the height were adjustable, it would be perfect.
