Nice! May 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First of all a great value for this Iron Man. I just loved the sounds every time you move it. I just wish it could have a little more points of articulation. You can really have fun playing with this Iron Man. Nice!
My 4 year old loves it May 2, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We've only had this toy for two days now so I can't make any comments as to it's durability, but I have to agree with what the other reviewer said - for the price realistic looking (plastic not "iron" or metal of course so some might consider it a bit "cheap" looking) with a limited number of nonetheless (from a child's point of view at least) very cool sound effects - iron man has a little trigger thing on his foot, when you lift him up he makes machine-like swooshing through the air sounds - theroetically when you put him down (thereby pressing the trigger on his foot again) he stops making the noise though I found you have to press him down on the ground a bit firmly for that to happen - when you move his arm a little light in the palm of his hand lights up and it makes a laser blasting sound - he says "I am Iron Man" and "Repulsor Beam" (name for his laser). Fires plastic projectiles too so be careful, make sure your munchkins don't hit another kid in the eye (or just take away the projectiles - BEFORE giving your munchkin the toy to avoid crying and wailing). Runs on 3 double AA batteries (included). Decent amount of articulation on it. Very faithful to the original concept of iron man which I'm familiar with as a comic book fan. Worth the twenty dollars IF your child is asking for an iron man toy, otherwise you'll find it overpriced if you buy it as a "surprise" gift for a munchkin who may or may not be interested in it. To make the toy "come to life" for your munchkin check out the website mentioned in the instruction booklet, it has online iron-man games your little one can play (hopefully an Iron Man cartoon will appear on TV soon as a tie-in) .
sweeeeeet! March 31, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a pretty darn cool action figure! My only gripe is that there are not enough points of articulation. The paint job is top notch, solid construction and cool electronic voice and sounds make this a must have for any kid 8-80yrs of age!
