Fun for Everyone August 18, 2008 Mom of 3 (Buffalo, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This toy is great! I bought it after reading all the great reviews and was not disappointed. Even my 2 year old can play because he knows his colors and he has a great time setting up the targets and running around looking for the color that is called out. He can play by himself which is always a plus - or he can play with us a s a group. It also is nice because it can really get you moving depending on how far away you set the targets from each other. Lots of fun!
Good for kids of all ages August 10, 2008 Catlin's Mom (Interlachen, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My kids aged 2, 5, and 10 all love this game. My husband and I even like it! It's very fun and great exercise. We pull this out on the hot days when running outside is just plain dumb. I do wish the voice was just a little louder, if anyone is talking, it's hard to make out the instructions. But it is durable; my 2-year-old boy is NOT gentle with it. We've had it since last Christmas and it's still going strong.
Fun for Whole Family! August 8, 2008 lulabell67 (Rochester, NY) I have a 6 and 4 year old. They have a blast with this game and so do my husband and I. I'm buying 2 more to send to friends today!
My Hyper Dash Workout August 3, 2008 Johnny Langosta (Madison, AL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Occasionally, my five year old daughter will remember we have this and we'll have a fun ol' time running around with it. Now that she's five, she can actually understand double and triple strikes but still needs help with a double reverse, but so do I if I don't "remember my trail." But that's not how I use this. This toy is mine. On days that I don't do weight training (with a Shovelglove sledge hammer) I will Hyper Dash around our 20x20 rec room after the kiddo has gone to sleep. Unlike recorded workout DVDs, or even something slightly more varable like Playstation's Yourself!Fitness, you can always keep up with the Hyper Dash since you are just trying to do the next instruction. Getting wildly different numbers for the same phase on the same level shows you that sometimes you are faster than others. I believe that a workout routine where you can fall behind is discouraging. This isn't. When you get 130 seconds on one of the level seven runs, you'll just laugh, because you're about to collapse anyway. And it's also fun when running around with my daughter. Oddly, she doesn't mind that I always win. One con = I can't STAND the Bonus Strikes. I don't want the clock to slow. I really want to know how long it takes me. This should at least be disabled when there is only one player. Suggested feature - I'd love to have the ability to have more targets and to download different game scenarios to it via USB or something. But then it would be $80 and not $20.
Glad I bought it August 3, 2008 Karo (taftville) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this game for my son's 6th birthday. I was trying to find something he could play with his step sister who is 2yrs and 4 days older than him. It's really hard for them to find something to play together with that is fun and can be for both genders. This is it. I even played with them. It allows them to have a reason to run, think and cheer each other on. What else could you want for kids. Only thing, I found it at Walmart for $9 cheaper. Oh well, the kids enjoy it.
