Active Fun for Whole Family December 29, 2007 Happy Wife (Arvada, CO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this for our 7-yr. old daughter, but enjoy it just as much as she does. You set up the targets and choose from various individual or team games. The joystick thing tells you what to do and has music that makes the racing around more exciting. This is easy enough for kids to play with or without adults. If you like to be active with your kids, this is a great indoor option, especially during the winter.
Made our holiday!! December 28, 2007 J. Zehr (Kansas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We gave Hyper Dash to our 6-year-old grandson for Christmas. He loved it and the whole family (ages 6, 12, 15, 41, 44, 70 and 71) had a ball playing it in the house over the holidays! The only problem we encountered was that when everyone is playing excitedly, it is sometimes difficult to hear the directions. Having a volume control might help. BUT, it was great fun anyhow!
fun! December 28, 2007 Brenda D. Balch (Schenectady, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchase this game for my daughters ages 10 and 7 for xmas. They really love it. They've been making up all sorts of courses all around the house. If you're one of those parents that don't allow running in the house, don't buy this toy. We have very long winters where we live and I actually encourage running in the house! This game is excellent exercise for my kids. As for educational value, I don't find much for my aged girls. Maybe a little for the younger kids. All around - a very fun toy.
Very exciting December 28, 2007 Christine Durkee (Andover, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my son who was 9 this month. He's very active outside and doesn't sit and play with legos or video games. I wasn't sure if he'd be interested in this game but he was "totally" excited. I would compare it to the game Simon but spread out wherever you put the "cups". Anyway, it's getting played with and if you don't mind the kids running around inside -- go for it. It's fun.
My kids love this game... December 27, 2007 BLKennedy (PA, United States) This is a fantastic game. I can't comment too much on durability, but it's only been in our house for a few weeks and it has held up very well. The premise is that it sends the player (the one holding the hyper dash tool) on a mad dash to reach each target (the little round, colored, numbered bowls). The levels vary ~ find the color, find the number - and there are even some math skills thrown in..."6-3!" This game has gotten us through a three-hour playdate with four kids on a very rainy day. There are also different play modes - single, relay, etc. The price here at Amazon is a bit higher - but franky, I'd pay it to avoid shopping with the crowds at Walmart or Toys 'R Us! Bottom line - this is a great game for many ages. You won't be sorry!
