Would be fun.... December 26, 2007 J. Christian (seattle, wa) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
If the disk shooter worked! We got this for Xmas - but unfortunately the disk shooter receiver didn't work. It will go back to the store this week but we will exchange it for another one - it just looks like too much fun so it deserves another chance. We all took turns tossing the disks in the air for others to shoot and had a blast. Can't wait to get a working machine!
Fun but December 26, 2007 Michael E. Comerford (Chilly Upstate NY) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The action itself is lots of fun - skeet shooting nerf discs! The only negative is that the disc launcher jams every 5 discs or so. I will be still keeping it as the kids had a blast with it, but as a brand new right out of the box product it really shouldn't do this.
Great toy December 12, 2007 Angela Brown (Chicago, IL) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is an excellent toy that has lots of parts that boys will enjoy. If you're afraid to get your son a real target shooter, this fits the bill nicely. DON'T pay Amazon or anyone else $80 for this game though, when I got the same thing at Walmart on clearance for $25.
Fun, but noisy and energetic August 15, 2007 William F. Adams (Camp Hill, PA USA) 77 out of 78 found this review helpful
Saw this on the way home from vacation and couldn't resist picking it up. It works surprisingly well (just be careful to insert the disks completely and evenly), and the disks do reach the stated ~7 or ~9 feet of height, which is a bit of a problem, since it's even more challenging to hit the disks when they bounce off the ceiling since they're already fast and hard to hit to begin with. It would be much better if there were 3 settings, say 3, 6 and 9 feet, where the 3 feet setting launched the disks markedly more slowly so that they were easier to hit. The motor is quite loud, and it and the beeping precludes use by adults who would like to practice while the kids are in bed, or by the kids at other times when significant noise is inappropriate which is unfortunate.
NOW THIS IS A GREAT TOY!!!!!! August 9, 2007 David Fuhrer (Los angeles, CA) 54 out of 59 found this review helpful
There is nothing more fun than blasting foam disks out of the air with a powerful and accurate Nerf shooter! Launch the disks in different directions by pressing a remote button on the shooter. Just like real skeet/trap shooting but much more fun and safe! This is truly a great toy that will give any kid or adult hours (years) of fun!
