Great fun for all ages August 12, 2005 bandmom (Bakersfield, CA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Three generations of players--and a kid won (over Dad and Grandpa)! They all thought it was a great game--a good combination of luck and skill is needed. I also like that the games can be finished rather quickly. You don't have to reserve a couple of hours to play.
Blokus is a great family thinking game that is easy to learn August 10, 2005 Just Mom (Atlanta) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Our family loves this game. I can't believe it can only be bought on the internet. I had thought about buying it as a family gift for Christmas for some of our friends. It is easy to learn how to play. It makes everyone think and calculate there next move. It is also a fast game so you do not have to plan a long evening to play. We love it.

This is a great fun way to get kids to think ahead, and plan moves. My entire family loves it!
hours of fun July 7, 2005 L. Robins 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I read about this game winning awards and decided to get it for the family a few years ago. Whenever we have company someone wants to play. No dice to roll, no cards to read. It is never the same twice; the board looks different at the end of each game. It is important to not loose any pieces... We count them as we put them away into 4 different zip-lock bags. Great fun for all ages.
Not Just For Kids June 9, 2005 K. Smith (Michigan USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My 21 year old college student (math major) brought this home with a couple of friends and we enjoyd it so much we had to buy one. The only warning is to watch when playing with math and physic's majors (they think in shapes anyhow). One of his friend's added fun to his play by seeking to accomplish certain goals each game, claim the exact center, go from corner to corner etc. And in our competative household, trying to gang up and block another player from being able to move was fair game too.
