fun for all kids ages November 22, 2008 Cheryl Demattico (new jersey) I purchased this for my 4 year old son , he can put it together himself,. I find my other boys doing it also they are ages 7 & 10. Great for all ages pieces are larger for smaller hands etc. Great buy.....
less pices at this size! October 14, 2008 T. Lu (Palo Alto, CA) I think it's too large for children. It would be better if it's 48 pices at this size.
Fun, fun, fun! June 7, 2008 Yun Oswalt (Starkville, MS USA) My daughter (2 yrs and 3 months old) and I have been playing together with the floor puzzle almost everyday since we received it a month ago. The color and quality of the puzzle are just wonderful. She recognizes and loves all 14 animals in the puzzle. I taught her to always start with butterfly, then look for the pieces of animals next to the butterfly. If I didn't fracture my tailbone before, I would have got down the floor more often to play the puzzle with her. I wish they have a smaller version of this puzzle and made of wood blocks so that we can sit and play it on a table and she wouldn't chew on the pieces.
Good Next Step After Board Puzzles May 6, 2008 D. Brandt (New York, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I gave this to my son when he was probably about 26 months old and had outgrown his board puzzles. It was easier than some of the other floor puzzles because the pieces are giant and each piece shows part of at least one other animal. At around 28 months he was able to do it on his own. He loves that there are so many animals in it. My husband and I laugh at the odd assortment of creatures, but our son announces each animal as he puts it together. When he's done he points out each animal to us and sometimes he gives them all kisses (awe!).
Love Melissa and Doug Products December 27, 2007 Donna D. Haxton (Dallas Center, IA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You just can't go wrong with a Melissa and Doug product. They last through rough kid play and the kids love them. This puzzle is a favorite of my three years old granddaughter.
