With its big rubberized grips and sturdy construction, we found this camera lived up to its incredibly durable reputation. Able to easily withstand being dropped again and again and waterproof for 30 minutes in up to three feet of water, this camera can handle the rough reality of active play. The heavy-duty construction that makes this camera so durable can also make it seem somewhat bulky for little hands, but this won't prevent kids from wanting to take it on all their adventures. This is a great camera. I was very leary about buying this but I am so glad I did. Not only does my son have a camera, a "real" one, but he can see the pictures he takes. I didn't expect the pictures to come out at all but they actually did. About 1/3 of all the pictures he took are good enough to print.

The quality of the pictures are pretty poor, even on the high setting, but my son loves taking pictures and seeing the poor quality pictures when we load them to the computer. If you want entertainment and fun for your child, this toy is a true winner.

Purchashed the camera for my grandson who's 2 1/2 and loves taking pictures with my digital camera. He received the camera on Christmas, showed him where the buttons were and he was off taking pictures. When the camera turns on it makes a sound. He looks at you and smiles. He loves it. It has already been dropped and kicked and is working fine. So far, no problems with it.

We took this out of the box Christmas day and it did not work. It has sound but the LCD did not work and it would not take pictures. I guess we should have tried it before we wrapped it up. Now we have a disappointed 4 year old.

This camera was bought as a gift for a 4 year old. The great things about it are that it is durable, it has a dual eye view finder, and our son thinks it is a ton of fun. The negatives about this product are that the picture quality is VERY poor although that isn't really an issue for us - I didn't expect great picture quality at this price point anyway. The bigger problem is that it EATS through batteries FAST FAST FAST! You definitely want rechargeable batteries for this otherwise you will spend a bundle and your child will get frustrated quickly.
