So Funny! December 1, 2008 Booly (MI USA) We have had it a year and every kid that comes to our house uses it and loves it. You will even see shy kids come out of their shell. My toddler likes to tell joke and hit the drum roll. We just took it to a party, and the kids used it like rock stars, now the mic seem very quite. It might need new batteries (first time, thanks to its autoshut down), but my husband thinks it wet from the kids "mouthing it"
Great BUT........................... November 13, 2008 BookBaby (Chicago) We gave this to my daughter over the summer and she loved it..used it daily. Great, but, the cord is very long. My dear sweetie did so much dancing with the cord that she pulled it and it was yanked from the base. Now it doesn't work very well if at all. We have given it a bit of lovin' with electrical tape to help but we are now in the market for a new microphone stand. I don't believe we will buy this one again. There are others out there............. Just our thoughts.
Fun but it broke November 3, 2008 S. Guy I disregarded the negative reviews thinking how generally gentle my Niece is with new toys. It still managed to break quickly. She still plays with it but I think it's going to become a cordless, batteryless prop. It's a shame because it's great for precocious linguists with a great imagination. It may end up in the trash quite soon.
Disappointing November 1, 2008 Janet Valmore The microphone did not work well from the start. It only picks up sounds when you hold it nearly touching your mouth. After little usage, the microphone quit working altogether, because of the micropone jack. Very cheap toy.
Awesome! July 8, 2008 A. James (Oregon) My daughter just turned 3 and we got this for her birthday. She absolutely loves to sing and this was the perfect gift. The sound quality is decent. But for the price you pay, no complaints there! The only "annoying" thing is that the microphone doesn't "stay put" too well on the clip. But it doesn't seem to bother her. She likes to take it off and rock out anyway.
