Hasbro seems to have a "Hit and Miss" tactic when it comes to its Marvel Legends line. This is one of its "Hits".

It's the variant figure of Rachel Grey - in all her glory as the Pheonix, but in the uniform she donned when she recently rejoined the X-Men - unfortunately she no longer wears this and it would have been nice if the this variant had her in the new costume.

Articulation is low, kudos though for the new socket joints which more or less hide the bendable parts - especially at the knees.

What is nice about this figure despite the fact that it's articulation is low and the costume is old, is the sculpt. It's actually a durable (No spindly joints or appendages) - yet sexy and well sculpted - female character - something that the Marvel Legends line - both from Hasbro and Toy-Biz - have always had trouble creating. I sincerly hope that this is a good sign of things to come from Hasbro. It is, by far, the most "playable" action figure from the Marvel Legends line - not counting the She-Hulk (That doesn't really count).

Of particular interet to collectors would be the Pheonix tatoo that was placed on her back by the Shi-Ar to track her movements. The uniform on her back is torn to reveal the tatoo.
