My eight year old son loves this backpack. He takes it to school every day. I feel it could be a little bit larger but all of his school supplies do fit in it. I especially like the little pocket on the front.

Perfect for a 2nd grader August 22, 2008
This is a great sized book bag for a 2nd grader. Nice, roomy, fits his lunchbox and his school folder/library books nicely. The outside pocket is great for his snacks. Of course, the fact that is Pokemon makes it worth everything for my son.

Seems OK enough...my son is happy but I'll be shocked if it lasts past Christmas which is too bad for almost 40 bucks
