There are two Pixel Love 2 Shop Malls, each with two shops - a salon/pet shop mall (included) and boutique/food court mall (sold separately). Connect the malls together so your Pixel Chix girlfriends can hang out or shop together. You can even connect a Pixel Chix house and car (sold separately) to the mall. Never really had an to opportunity to find out what kind of product this is. Bought this item for my daughter for Christmas. Did not work properly only could see the body of the person.

Got this toy along with one of the two story houses for my four year old after a whole year of her begging... she and I sit side by side playing (I'm 38)! I think the Pixel Chix is tons of fun! The lines in the screen have appeared for me as well, but only once, and only when I tried to link the two sets while the toys were on (so turn the toys off prior to linking, and then no problem). Sure, this is not The Sims... but hey, what a cute, quirky little toy for not a ton of cash! She's a bit sassmouthed... but I'd say 99% of the time the dialog makes me smile (especially now that my little girl is repeating her Chix's "YIKES" - TOO FUNNY!!). These toys are big fun in a wee package, so go for it... we're looking to buy a couple more sets... because my husband wants his own to play (boys just don't want to wait their turn, do they!). So... my conclusion... fun for your girl, won't numb mommy or daddy mind like some toys... this is a solid purchase! Enjoy!

My daughter bought this with her Christmas money -- mainly because it was cheap and used up what she had left over. Surprisingly, this toy was one of her favorites, and she played and played and played with it. Its probably under the bed by now, but I'll bet she still plays with it from time to time and until the novelty wore off, it was a HIT!

My seven year old daughter got this after christmas and it was on sale on amazon for less than half the price that Target sold it. It took her a little while to figure out how to use all the different buttons but she loves it! I read reviews on some of the others that were purchased as far as the batteries not lasting and problems with sound but we have not had any problems with this at all. It was a good buy for $9.99!

This toy can do so much and it's not to complicated for the kids to understand. It's even more fun when you have two or more because they can be connected and the pixel chix go into one another's malls, houses etc..I just bought this for my 7yr old daughter and my 9yr old niece and they both loved it. Great toy.
