Protect your most valuable secrets! | Recommended for ages six and up, girls especially will love writing and hiding their deepest desires. Your Voice Unlocks the Diary With a normal diary, you're just begging for someone to sneak a peek! But not the Paws Off. This voice-activated electronic diary lets you record a secret password for you--and you alone--to remember. When the diary recognizes your voice and the correct password, then the guard dog barks happily and the diary pops open. When you press a button on the inside, the guard dog interacts with you. The cute figure even moves from behind its bubble dome so you can play with it any time. However, if the password is incorrect, then the dog is not friendly. Releasing a loud, angry bark, the diary will not open. And in case would-be intruders have any more funny ideas, this diary keeps out unwanted guests with a hard, durable plastic design. Fun Accessories Speaking of design, the already festive pink, yellow, and purple diary comes with sheets of fun pet stickers to decorate your secret notes and diary case. And with 20 sheets of pet note paper held in place with cute paw print clips, you can write your biggest secrets or keep notes to friends safe until you see them next. A wonderful addition to any Littlest Pet Shop collection, this electronic toy comes completely assembled and requires only three AA batteries (not included). What's in the Box Electronic diary, sticker sheets, 20 note paper sheets, and guard dog figure.

don't waste your dough November 29, 2008 LF (Florida) each of my girls got one of these last year. neither worked after 2 days.
Lousy toy July 6, 2008 Ann (MA) It sounded good and my twin 6 year old daughters wanted it for their birthday. So we bought them each one. I has not worked consistenly and the voice recognition was terrible. It really was a waste of money.
LPS DISAPPOINTMENT!! :( June 23, 2008 M. Sampson (oh) My 7yr old wanted this reallly bad for her birthday. I didn't really want her to have it, but we gave in. It was the biggest disappointment ever!! We bought it home, put brand new batteries in it & it didn't work. My husband & I tried to do her password for her & that didn't work either. We took it back to the store the same day we bought it. DON'T WASTE YOUR $25 on this piece of junk!
Frustrated March 1, 2008 H. Cardinal (Tucson, AZ) My 6 year old had this toy on her Christmas list and was very excited when she received it. Since that time, we have not been able to get the diary to recognize her voice despite many attempts. We used short one-syllable words with hard consonant sounds and it never would work. She and I were both about to scream by the end of our 20+ minutes trying. She is still glad to have it, but wishes it would work like the commercials say it does.
Don't bother February 1, 2008 mw Absolutely the worst gift I have ever bought my kid. The voice recognition DOES NOT work. We were never able to get it to work, even with the most basic one syllable words you can think of. Trust me on this, keep looking for something better.
