My 9 month old daughter loves this toy. She will sit and press the buttons for quite awhile. She likes to see the phone light up and make sounds - especially the button that makes it play music. It's also survived several drops on the ground without a problem.

Now I like a toy every now and then that has minimal volume. However this one is just too quiet. I thought it was the batteries, but no.
It's cute for the money. Keeps her occupied for 5 minutes.

i bough this phone for may baby when she was 6 month and now she is 18 month still like it so much, well according to others review about if it is too quiet, i find it perfect because it supose your baby plays with it like a cell phone, so the tone is perfect if you put in your ear, its durable and strong toy, my baby has throught it many time and its in one pice yet.. i advice it!!!! ilove this bilingual version!!!

We were dissapointed with this toy. The volume is very low, unusual for a childs toy, can barely hear whats its saying. My daughter played with it for 2 minutes then threw it aside. The only time she plays with it is throwing it in and out of the toy chest.
