Four years and counting... December 4, 2008 Maegan (Tampa, FL - USA) My mom got this toy for my first child's very first Christmas in 2004. She was 11 months at the time and enjoyed it immensely. It was put into a playroom for a while when she got a little older, she wasn't as "into" the lights & sounds as much as she just wanted to do pretend play. She switched it into the off position a lot to keep it from talking back to her, lol! My second child was born in '07 and started playing with it at about 6 months. She LOVES it. The only problem we have had is that somehow a sound keeps repeating...I have tried to see if there is a button stuck down...but they all seem to be okay. When it happens, we switch it off...and within a few hours it will be fine again. I don't think it's too loud or too quiet...and I don't remember what the sound was IN the box, it's just been too long. It came with a puppy toy...and at the time, the puppy toy came home with us and the phone stayed at Grandma's house. We haven't changed the batteries in it once yet...and now it is with us at home, instead of grandma's.
great substitute for baby who wants YOUR toys December 4, 2008 Vance J. Lawman (Newton Falls, OH United States) Our 6 month old was always grabbing our TV remotes and our phones, so we got this for her to grab instead. We pretend to use it and let her grab it from us, and she LOVES it. It's a little annoying sometimes, but it has a great feature: an OFF button! It's very cheerful and she loves to play with it.
Great toy for the car! November 25, 2008 Lisa Scher (Chicago) We've had this phone for a while, and it's had its moments of playtime. I like the alphabet, and the music. But I do have to say, it's kind of loud. My son shows interest in it, but then turns it off becuase of the volume. I like the learning aspect, and the fact it has grown with us over 2 years!
Whole Lotta Fun November 6, 2008 M. Patrick (Portland, OR) I'd buy this toy for a gift in a second! My son has had this for around 8 months now (he's now 21 months old) and still plays with it. It really holds his interest and is easy to take on the road. Keeps his fingers busy in the car seat. It does a good job of introducing numbers and letters (not a heavy teacher, in my opinion) and the lights and music are amusing. This is one purchase I didn't regret.
Great value! June 18, 2008 Donna Matthew (New Jersey, USA) I gave this phone to my 18 mth old son and he loved it. So the next year I bought some more to give to other kids as gifts and it was still a hit. Kids just seem to love it.
