Interesting book July 29, 2008 Sean M. Doherty (Orlando, FL, USA) If you are a die hard Indiana Jones guy like me this as a must buy! It contains all of Indy's tricks and knowledge including tricks from the new Crystal skull movie.
Even if you don't own a bullwhip... May 24, 2008 Neal Thompson (North Carolina) This is a blast of a book. Packed with fun, funny, and very useful info for fans and non-fans alike... Wanna know how to ride an elephant? It's here. How to break a zombie curse? Check. How to survive while clinging to a submarine's telescope? Got it. And my personal favorite: How to escape the wrath of God. Kids and adults will love it. The writing is lively and the photos and diagrams are often hilarious. Kudos to the writing team of Kiernan and D'Agnese.

Here's your How To book for becoming a globe trotting adventurer seeking out archeological artifacts ala Indiana Jones. It's a quaint and humorfilled hardbound book that is put together well, has classic stills from the movies, and plenty of 'how to' tidbits. You'll learn how to crack a bullwhip, pass under a speeding truck, deal with booby traps, and even escape the Wrath of God. Plentiful references to the trilogy are made and with the 4th movie coming out, this is pretty much a marketing ploy for it although nothing from the upcoming movie is contained within this text. It looks great, it makes you want to re-watch the movies, and you'll read it in a day or two. Why didn't this book get 5 stars?... in my opinion, it's simply overpriced to buy it new at nearly $20 for a 175 page 5x7 book. The text per page is pretty minimal as the graphic layout fills quite a bit of the page. Absolutely worth having but it really shouldn't cost this much.
Great Fun April 23, 2008 Keith Reynolds 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is just like all of the other film or genre inspired guides. It is funny no matter who reads it but if you are a big fan of the film as in this case the book is so much funnier. There are a lot of little references to the original trilogy that you would only catch being an avid lover of the films. And to my own surprise there are quite a few hints to the plot of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which were very surprising and quite frankly caught me off guard. But regardless of the reader it is guarenteed a good read.
