 excellent product, exactly what you need for internet postage September 8, 2010

I re-use boxes for shipping, which means I have to black out markings and rip off old labels. When I first used an Avery label, I had no idea that they were specifically designed to block out the previous label, so I blacked it out as usual with a marker and put the Avery label over it. I was surprised to see that very little of the big black block underneath the label showed through. That's when I finally read the package! These labels are so handy in that regard, because not only do they block out the previous label but they cover up any rips or leftover bits of sticker on the box, making a re-used box look neater. It fit in my printer (a Canon) just right and printed perfectly after I did a single test page for postage. I leave it sitting in the printer for a few minutes and have never had an issue with smeared ink. All in all, these are definitely worth buying if you have internet postage and shipping needs.

We ship fairly often as we sell on Amazon. We use Amazon's new buy postage service for labels now. These labels make life a lot easier than printing the postage on paper and then covering the paper with tape, while not covering any barcodes.
The one bad issue, the labels are two per page, horizontally placed. Amazon prints vertically. What you need to do is seperate the two labels, which are perferated and place them in the printer the long way and they work fine. Another little issue the box states these work with Windows Vista, well many of us have moved on to Windows 7. Like many products a little behind the times. There are templates to download for Word, etc.
The lables come off the backing easily, had no issues with smearing and they really do cover anything you place them over (they have a silver type adhesive backing which contributes to this). The don't come off, once on they are on.

As someone who ships 1-2 packages a week on average, it wasn't until recently that I bought an UltraShip Postage Scale from Amazon and started printing my postage at home.
These Avery shipping labels are the perfect for all your internet shipping:
- the size matches US Postal Service Click-n-Ship (just literally print from your web browser)
- these labels also work with [...], eBay, PayPal, and UPS (although I only tested them with USPS)
- designed for inkjet printers, the labels dry instantly and don't smudge or run
- you can place the labels over existing labels and markings and you can't see underneath
- the adhesive is strong and secure
In other words, consistent with the quality I know and expect from Avery brand labels.
When you look at the Amazon price, at 22cents a label, you can't go wrong. I'm just kicking myself for printing, cutting, and taping paper labels for so many years!
Works Great with USPS Click-n-Ship September 4, 2010

I use USPS Click-n-Ship for a lot of package mailing and these labels work great for that purpose. I've had no feeding problems through a variety of printers; the printed labels are crisp with no ink smearing and they are easy to remove from the backing sheet. What else could you ask for? I have no hesitation in recommending these labels from Avery.

I use USPS Quick Ship label printing for my infrequent parcel mailings, and was delighted to find this label product. The similar Avery 5327 labels have a section for printing the receipt, but at almost $.50 each, they are way overpriced.
These labels are about half that price per label, and also work in laser printers. I prefer laser because of the danger of water smearing the information on the label (your mileage may vary, depending on the type of inkjet you have).
