Our neice loved it October 6, 2008 Beagle (Mississippi) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this as a first birthday present for our niece. My sister tells me she loves being read too and looking at the pictures in the book. Pair this with an age appropriate tea set and you have the perfect gift for any little girl.
a "little" disappointed September 30, 2008 hoschton grandma (hoschton, ga) My Very First Tea Party The book was very small, measuring about 5"x5", and that didn't hold the interest of my three-year-old granddaughter. Also, the book came to me damaged along the spine of the book. Not a very good buy overall for the money.
Great book if you are a Christian... July 3, 2008 J. Mofardin (Hamlin, NY) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
However I am not, and therefore was terribly dissapointed to find a blessing to God at the end of the book. Wish it had mentioned that in the description or at least shown that page in the "look inside" link. Would have saved me $ and hassle. Just a warning to those that may not practice a form of Christianity. Otherwise it is cute.
Not what I expected June 26, 2008 A. C. Wyld (Guatemala, C.A.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 18-month daughter did not find this book at all interesting. She serves us tea and cookies so I thought by the book's title that it would be fun for her to see and "read" about a tea party. However, the pictures are watercolors (too complicated for a toddler's attention span) and the book does not describe how a "tea party" would normally go about. It puts more enpahsis on lovely dresses than on tea sets and girls having a good play time.
Excellent June 20, 2008 M. J. Salois (KY USA) I purchased this for my 3 year old grand daughter and she loved having me read it to her. Encourages imaginative tea parties for grandma's and their grand daughters. We loved it.
