5 out of 5 stars A fabulous Robot!   September 22, 2008
BJ More (Chicago, IL)
We got this for my 4 year old son for Christmas and he and his 3 year brother absolutely love it. They love shooting the discs and dancing with him. My 3 year is pretty rough with it and carries it around by its arm, but so far, nothing has broken - and it's still using the same batteries we installed at Christmas time. We're planning to get the one with the laser gun for the boys this year for Christmas.

4 out of 5 stars my son loves it!   January 13, 2008

My son loves this toy. I often use it to occupy him or odstract him when he is bored or getting into something he shouldn't be. He dances with the robot and knows how to operate his spitting function, even though he's only 3! I have had no issues with the batteries; ours turns off automatically because it has a battery saving mechanism. The robot even says goodbye. The down side is to be careful when the robots shoots the disks from his mouth. They are lightweight, but my son did get hit in the eye. (the robot was on the coffee table, but is really meant to be on the floor.)He didn't really get hurt, just a little freaked out.

5 out of 5 stars Robbie robot is great!!   January 12, 2008

My grandchildren ages 4 and 5 loved Robbie Robot. They danced with him and mimicked his movements. They dodged his disc as they shot out. It was great to give them a toy that kept them moving. I highly recommend Robbie Robot. We haven't owned it long enough to rate its durability but it seems to be well built. No fragile parts are visible. A doting grandmother.

I purchased this robot for my 3 year old son for Christmas, actually it came from Santa. He loves it. It is so much fun. He figured out the walking and shooting quickly. It's been over two weeks and the batteries have lasted fine. Absolutely adorable.

1 out of 5 stars Bad manufacturing quality   December 22, 2007

The toy lasted all of two hours before it just stopped working. New batteries, etc., had no effect. Too bad - it was fun while it lasted. Would NOT buy this toy - there are much higher quality, more durable remote control toys than this in the same price range.
