Everything about this top is good except that it isn't a "real" top. It spins and does everything a top should do...except it is on a stand that keeps it upright all the time. I would have preferred a top that spins on the ground even though it is a little harder for kids to use.

I just bought this same this from amazon more then a month ago..for only ten dollars...and you can find this other places..it is a wonderful toy and my spins solid and is very loud whistling but do not buy here!!!

I had wanted to order this from Amazon for my grandson, but they were sold out and I refused to pay $63 for the same item from another seller on their site. Instead I bought a new one on Ebay for $11.95 plus shipping. Am pleased with the price but not the quality of the toy. Wobbles and does not hum very loud. I remember them humming louder - anyway mine did.

I bought the humming top for my 20 month old grandson. He is fasinated by it and lo and behold the 10 year old granddaughter thinks it is great!
There still a place for the good old fashioned toys that have past the test of time!!

It's a good solid toy. My child enjoys it. it makes a train-like sound when goes really fast. It is a very
NON-frustrating toy, as it is easy to use, interesting to watch and hard to break.
