I think the photo here doesn't do this doll or the Andy one justice. I sent my granddaughter both the Raggedy Ann and Andy and the photo I saw of her playing with them shows they're especially quality toys, very good-looking and well made. I wasn't expecting them to be THAT beautiful, but they are.

Very disappointed. Nothing like the picture and did not have button eyes! I also thought it was pretty cheap not to refund shipping when it was clearly their misrepresentation.

Be careful when ordering this doll. The one the company sends you is not the one shown in the picture. It does not have the cute bows and ruffles. When I called the company to inquire and see if they sent the wrong one, they informed me that the artist sent a different doll than what their picture shows. They returned my money, although I never got reimbursed for my return shipping. I ended up ordering one from Toys r us, paid less and got the 30" doll, I am much happier with that one.

I got this doll for my sister. When we were young, we both had a Raggedy Ann doll. When we moved from overseas to return to the states, we had to give away our toys. My sister has always regretted giving away her Raggedy Ann. She was ecstatic when she received this new classic the other day. I can hardly wait to order one for me.

I purchased both of the 12" size Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls, plus a few 'Raggedy' books, as a baby gift for a newborn. They will be her "first dollies" to love and cuddle, as they once were mine. Her mom was thrilled with the gift, since she too had grown up with Raggedy Ann & Andy!
