| Editorial Reviews:
Editorial Review When little wobblers are bored with walls and sofa edges, and there's no one to offer a hand, they can two-foot it safely across that open ocean of living-room floor with the help of the Step Start walker. This dual-purpose toy acts as stable support as they learn to walk, then lets them roll along when they want to ride. Once they are secure on their legs, the walker converts easily to a first ride-on toy. (Only adults can operate the wheel-lock mechanism.) A flexible antenna, spinning drum, clicking gear, and other sight-touch-sound features provide sit-down play fun. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver. --Ava Natov
Product Description It's 2 toys in 1! As a sturdy, stable walker, the Step Start Walk 'n Ride toy helps babies learn to stand, take their first steps, and walk. As the grow older, it easily converts to a first ride-on toy! It has a locking mechanism that only parents can activate, so children can't change modes by themselves. Kids can explore the hands-on activities in both the walker and ride-on modes to see fascinating sights, hear silly sounds and touch interesting textures. Adult assembly required

Fun, multi purpose walker December 28, 2008 S. M. Duran (Hot Springs, AR) Bought this for my nephews one year old daughter learing how to walk. Great for that purpose, rolls nicely. Much cheaper on Amazon than at the big Blue store!
Good toy December 28, 2008 L. Hunt (Tokyo Japan) This toy was great. It helped my son learn to walk. My husband would help him push the toy and eventually he learned to do it himself. Plus he loved to play with everything that was on it. I'd recommend for any parent who has a child who is on the brink of learning to walk.
Watch your fingers! December 28, 2008 kmc (San Francisco, CA United States) The wheels don't turn well enough to use as either a walker or a rider. And watch it when you switch modes... I got my finger caught in there and it was impossible to get free....OOOOUUCH!
If I can Send Back, I Would Do it December 22, 2008 Reader RD The quality of this toy, it is not that I want it. My boy just used for one afternoon and give it some one else who have a boy of four year old and this person give it some one else.
Great as a ride-on, Not so much as a walker December 17, 2008 Nicole Newland (Naples, FL) We have this toy for my 31-month-old and my 9 month old and they both love it. It is not very steady when used as a push toy but is tons of fun as a ride on. It has even supported me sitting on it when my daughter has insisted I do so! I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is supposed to fit in the storage compartment up front.
