It looks like one of the most popular toys for the 2008 Christmas shopping season will be the Fur Real Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup. This pooch features voice recognition, obeying six commands, including, “Sit”, “Speak”, and “Lie down”. This puppy wags his tail and barks and will raise his right or left paw if you ask him when he wants a treat. This cute puppy comes with collar, tag, brush, dog “bone” and adoption certificate.

Of course, the Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation 3 or PS3, Micsosoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS are expected to be quite popular again this Christmas season as was the case last year. Topping the list of video games, the Wii Fit is expected to be extremely popular this year along with Rock Band 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV.

The U Command Wall-E robot is also expected to be an extremely popular Christmas item for this 2008 season.

This Wall E arrives with realistic expressions, original movie voice, sound effects and light up eyes. Wall-E can be preprogrammed with an action sequence via the wireless remote control with over 1000 action combinations. Just like in the Disney movie, kids will love Wall-E as this toy should fly off the shelves.

There is also expected to be a lot of buzz and excitement surrounding this year’s Transformers toys such as the Bumblebee action figure  which transforms into the sleek 2008 Camaro and the Optimus Prime action figure. The Fisher-Price Elmo Live with actual opening and closing mouth is also expected to drive kids wild this Christmas. This Elmo tells stories, jokes, waves his arms, sits and stands.
